Team Snowdonia

Saturday 25th October Team Dover Road Runners gathered at the start of the Snowdonia Marathon.

All the months of training  we now will  be tested, on this tough challenging route of 26.2 miles.

 Numbers pinned on , gels packed  wondering as to what lies ahead. The gun fires and we are off. We had a mixed bag of weather cold winds, rain and Sunshine. All Drr  had to dig deep as up and down we ran. The views were amazing , the marshals and water stations all brilliant.

The final couple of miles a steep climb up to mile 25, this tested us all , then a steep descent to the Finish over uneven  slippery ground . But in true Drr sprit we made it over the finish line. Thanks to all the Drr supporters out on the route they really helped us to get round
