London to Brighton 100k challenge 23rd May 2015

Neil and Patricia Coleman and Steve Baird entered the event  which is a 100 km run starting at Richmond Old Deer Park, London. With 20 minute start time of 100 people leaving at a time, the route follows the footpaths of the Thames firs,t then footpaths of the South Downs and finishing at Brighton race course. Competitors can walk, run or both.
This was Neil and Paticia’s 2nd attempt at doing the event after attempting it in 2014 in very poor weather conditions. This year the weather was just fine.
Neil Coleman completed it in 15 hours 01 minute, 105th overall, a pb by 6 hours and 7 minutes. Patricia Coleman completed it in 18 hours 59 minutes, 207th overall, a pb by 2 hours 8 minutes and Steve Baird completed it in 19 hours 19 minutes 214th overall in his first time of doing a ultra event.
